In March of 1992, the neighbor's cat had kittens. Two of them came across the street to live with us. One of them was a tiny black ball of fluff with white paws. My brother and I named her Spatz, after her paws. (Spats are those white covers you sometimes see to black shoes ( Read more... )

aww. I'm sorry your Kitty has gone to Timeheart. But at least she has friends waiting for her there.

Thank you. Like I mentioned, she was 19. Which is ancient in cat years. It's not been unexpected. Mom called me this morning to let me know.

She's had a rocking kitty cat life. Spending your last months eating roast beef, being waited on paw and tail, and the occasional splash of cream? That's a heck of a way to go. :)

Clara, I am both sad and happy to learn that Spatz has gone on to cross the Rainbow Bridge. I hope she finds my Kajun Ladi waiting for her on the other side.
