Holy cow. February is coming in like an angry freight train. The wind and rain pounding on my window just woke me up. Temps are falling like a rock.

You know, the last month has been very bad for my tv watching.
I'm now dangerously close to being hooked on Hawaii 5O. And that is on top of CSI and CSI:NY. And Blue Bloods...I haven't watched this much network TV in the last 5 years. -
Sunday musings
So did anyone actually see what happened Jay Cutler? Because I'm not seeing or hearing anything which indicates that he should be sitting the day out. What up with dat? I mean I'm not a huge Cutler fan to begin with. But I'm used to seeing guys turn themselves inside out for a championship game. He's not on crutches. He's walking around. My inner ( Read more... ) -
Domestic shenannigans
The pumpkin custard in my pumpkin pie bars refuses to set. This could be an issue. Especially since they are on the menu all week. I am reminded that my oven doesn't always play nice with others. I've had different recipies that I've had to adjust with trial and error. I'm hoping I at least end up with edible custard out of this ( Read more... ) -

We have a rainy weekend on tap. Thank goodness. My allergies have been going ballistic this week. I've had a sinus headache all week long. Oy! This is the fun of living in the cedar capital of the US. The bad part is the rain kicks the mold up so the mold allergy will get going. Junk History
So I'm watching Brad Metzger's new show on History Channel. It's got me totally rolling my eyes.

I'm all tucked in and realize I nearly forgot to post. All hail iPhone LJ apps.
Tonight I'm tucking in with volume 1 of Mark Twain's autobiography. It's a bit like sitting on the porch talking with an old man as he goes from story to story. That's what makes it different. It's edited, but not polished if that makes sense.
