So aside from the very sad news on Friday about the murder of my former teacher, things are really good here.

A sad day...
I received an email this morning from my long, lost host sister from the time I spent in Tashkent Uzbekistan working at Ilkhom Theatre (I can't believe it was 10 years ago this year).While it was fantastic to hear from her, unfortunately the news she had was horrible.

Victory Day
It's a holiday today here in Rhode Island (I think maybe MA has today off too). It's Victory Day. Victory over what, you might ask? It used to be called Victory Over Japan Day...but since that now seems antiquated they just call it Victory Day. We are having the storm of the year out here tonight (lots of rain and wind; there's even prediction of snow) and tomorrow is the Boston Marathon. Normally they warn runners about overheating. This year they are warning them about hypothermia. Yikes ( Read more... ) -
