My 65th birthday was a month ago. I'm pretty happy with this anniversary, because 16 years ago I didn't know if I would make it to 55 because of a leukemia diagnosis. A couple of years ago I was told I was developing a cataract in my right eye. The ophthalmologist found this interesting as most people who get cataracts get them in both eyes at about the same time. In the last post I was complaining about the heat. Now we have just finished--he said, hopefully--the first real winter we've had here in recent memory. the temps have been fluctuating over a period of about 10 days or so from highs in the low 70s to highs in the low 30s, with corresponding cycles in the lows.
