Still alive and kicking
I'm not sure who is still here except for aethyrflux. I know several have left for----ach!----Facebook and at least two have died. Sic transit mundus.
Health-wise, things are looking good. I got a new pacemaker installed last Tuesday, so the pump will, hopefully, be good or another 30,000 miles or so. CML is stable in the "normal" range, and has been for several months.
The current house arrest situation due to the ChiCom Crude is a nuisance, but bearable, at least at the moment. Books to read, DVDs to watch, music to listen to, and a Netflix subscription.
Sometimes its good, being an introvert.
In re the last mentioned mode of entertainment, I've been watching Babylon Berlin recently, partly because its a good show, but also as a reminder that the political situation here and now is not as bad as it could get. Not right now, at any rate. Definitely worth a look, but take heed of the series' "MA" rating; this show is definitely not for the kiddies.
