My co-workers aren’t fun, no one is really going out or doing anything interesting. I suspect my manager - who is a cheapskate, might be getting in on dinners/nights out on the town with vendors and not sharing. That definitely isn’t cool.

I’m back home and in one piece. Lots of clean up to do and even more to report on in the coming days. I need more sleep but have to go to the beer judging class tonight, which means, I have to go drink beer, rather than report on my trip. One must prioritize.

Everything mentioned in the subject line did happen and I will live it down.

Tomorrow night, the Dallas 1759 Society meets at Trinity Hall for a special celebration.

It’s halfway to St Patrick's day! This is good enough as any excuse to drink beer for me. I have high standards, you know.

The secret to being selected to go to the vendor conference in Las Vegas is to not volunteer and make fun of said vendor for not choosing a backwater town instead. More details forthcoming as I have some planning to do.

There’s nothing safe about the H.R.Giger inspired “Alien”. It’s a sleek, dirty killing machine that now has it’s own slot machine theme based on the movie. Upon seeing it, I had to play it and take some pics. The facehugger is so cute; I want to pet it.

No matter where or what casino you’re at, you’re going to see a lot of the same things. It’s always entertaining and interesting. However, this seemed to be a dry casino -NO BOOZE, as I didn’t see anyone drinking. Because of that, I’d say that this wasn’t the full casino experience but really, you’ve got to go to Las Vegas for that.
