An interesting week
So Joe had his hip replacement surgery on Monday. We had to be at the hospital (N.E. Baptist - apparently THEE hospital for hip replacements and joint surgeries of all kind - ask Arnold Palmer and other sports stars) at 5:45 am on Monday morning. Where did the decade go?
OK, so I freaked out when I got my issue of Rolling Stone and it had "Best of the 00's" on the cover. I had not even realized that this coming New Year's was the end of a decade - the "naughts"! We had the memorial service for Rhonda this weekend, which went really well. It was packed, a lot of her work people showed up, as well as friends and acquaintances from all over. Some memories of Rhonda
I first met Rhonda in late '89 when I answered an ad while looking for a place to live. She was the first person I called that allowed cats (which I had 2 of). Turns out Rhonda was a big ol' 'cat person' like me, so we already had that in common when I moved in in Jan '90 ( Read more... )
