Yum! I love sticky toffee pudding in the winter. If I see it on a menu when I am eating out, it tends to be the dessert of choice. Have never tried to make it myself tho. Thanks for the recipe!

edit P.S. I am loving your blog by the way and have added it to my must-keep-website notes! I am visiting a mate in Moscow next month who in a complete small-world coincidence worked out that she knows you / Leo (whom you posted about, with the homemade italian!), after I emailed her your blogsite and told her we had to go check out your recces. :-) Apparently Leo has promised us a night out on the town when I'm over, a courtesy for a fellow Aussie-if-stranger!

Oh, lovely, thank you so much!! It is opposite with me - I never see it on a menu, so I just make it at home :)))

I guess our mutual friend is Stefanie?? I just met her at a little party and she told me about you and that you are coming over! It would be so great to meet when you're here and get to know you in person. And if Leo throws a dinner that'll be amazing fun! Will be expecting you :)

It is very much a British / brit-colonial comfort food I guess, so it you can usually find it on the menus here, parrticularly during the winter.

Yes, that is she! :-) I was so excited when she said she was moving to Moscow and promised to come visit her, so now my flight is booked (tho' I have yet to get my visa sorted *bites nails* - must find the time for that!). I will be there from 16-20 March so I really hope we will all be able to get together. That'll be grand! (as the Oirish say)
