rat has tested positive for COVID and I have the same symptoms. Went and got tested this morning.

I Can Finally Breathe
A very long story short: Went to an ENT because I suddenly went deaf in my right ear. (It is permanent, sadly).

Bad News from the Neurologist
My neurologist gave me the results of my lower back x-ray. NOT good news.
My lower vertebrae are pretty much disintegrating and pushing on the nerves there, which is why at any time my back can go out.

Grandparents Analysis
This came up when ‘Sanji’ posted about his grandmother. He loved her so much and she loved him back. I looked at mine (none of them are left because I am now their age) and did some reflection.

Bad News from the Rheumatologist
Saw the rheumatologist yesterday. Before I got to see her, her new assistant came in to do blood pressure (excellent!) and blood work. Then she asked me if I wanted a bone density scan. I said sure, because I have not had one for about a decade and I know I have bad osteoporosis. The new guy did the scan and I made him laugh a lot with my jokes. He ( Read more... )
