I got to FilkOntario late on Friday( and had lots of fun. ) -
zero gravity has escaped
Today was zero_gravity's last day at our work. I helped hire her nine years ago, and she was one of the best customer service people we ever had. Now, as Clockwork Zero, she makes steampunk jewelry, and with the notoriety she has gained from Wired, she could make a living at this. Buffalo airport
We were flying out early in the morning, so we came down to Buffalo on Thursday evening. I was in a mood for beef on weck; the most convenient place to get one after 10 PM that was near our route was the Buffalo Brewpub at Main and Transit in East Amherst. Seattle Worldcon bid ends
In Internet time this is probably old news by now. The Seattle Worldcon bid lost facilities and has withdrawn from the vote for the 2011 Worldcon.
