Well, we somehow lived through Irene. Some of my relatives are sans power, but we're lucky and are pretty much unscathed. *knocks on wood* We still are in wind and some more lighter rain is set to hit in a bit, but we're okay. Have you ever looked out the window and seen the moon in full-out creepy mode? Right now, its just barely not a full moon and covered in creepy clouds. There was a thunderstorm earlier and the temperature dropped from 98 to 78 in twenty minutes. It is creepy weather. Pretty, but creepy.

Hail. Giant hail has killed my garden. My squash are tattered and the sunflowers and Jerusalem artichokes are sad and have holes an inch long in there leaves. Tim and I brought in a black swallowtail caterpillar just in time. She now resides in a jar on the kitchen window. Tim swears it's a she. We'll see. But.. my poor garden ;A;
