I rode the Orange Trail at Shawnee Mission Park yesterday after work with my sister. It's only 2.5 miles, but it nearly kicked my ass. 2.5 miles on dirt, rocks and tree roots is waaaay more difficult than doing 10+ miles on a blacktop path. I did my final weigh in this morning. I lost 9 pounds, which is one pound less than I had hoped to lose but still gets me in the 5% loss category. I am satisfied with these results. I can tell the most in my arms, which aren't perfect but look so much better than they have in years ( Read more... )

I did the Crossfit Workout of the Day yesterday. It kicked my ass. 40 double unders (Jumping rope) 30 Box Jumps and 20 Kettlebell swings, in five sets.
