Word Count and other stuff
Well, I can't stand being behind schedule. So... I wrote 3,300 words today. I'm up to 18,357 words, which is only 20 words ahead of schedule. I far prefer being ahead to being behind ( Read more... ) -
I cannot believe it!
My daughter's former best friend was killed two nights ago, and she is absolutely devastated by it . He had gotten involved in drugs and got in deeper and deeper so she had to more or less cut ties. Now he is dead. She called me, sobbing, because she is so angry at him for allowing himself to get in this situation. There is no more opportunities to ( Read more... ) -
An Update and an addition
I know that most of you would like an update when it is available, so here's tonight's: I called the OB/GYNE about my breast and asked to talk to my doctor's nurse. She wasn't available but the person I spoke with (another nurse?) said NOT to try to express any more fluid from it, and leave it alone "because it will make it worse." She was ( Read more... ) -
Unbelievable!
Today, Bear officiated at a real live hillbilly/redneck wedding. It was his first time to officiate (I've married three couples, so I'm ahead of him!). It was on a porch located on a mountainside, and only 18 people (including us) were supposed to attend but it ended up being way over 30. a MishMash of news...
First of all, I am depressed for my daughter. She has been trying for THREE YEARS to get approved for disability, and had her court hearing... and after weeks of waiting, has found out she was denied again. the problem is two-fold- 1)She is young (26) and has multiple medical problems. They don't think someone so young should be so disabled (!!)

Adie update
I forgot to let y'all know about Adie. She was in the ER for 8 hours, and everything came back negative. No abscess, thank God. So, they sent her on her way. I think that because she was off of her pain meds for fibromyalgia (and whatever else is causing her pain) she has been having extra pain -- not just from the surgery. What is going on?
Adie called to tell me that she was going to the ER because she was in pain that was different than it had been, after the surgery, and it has been 4 days. Sasha called me from the ER to let me know that the surgeon had to be called. She has been at the ER for almost 5 hours and I have heard nothing more.
