It is a glorious day here right now, but it started off very cold. In fact, there was snow on the cars and the mountaintops this morning -- would have been snow on the ground but it was too warm from yesterday to stick. It was in the 20's last night! Brrrr ( Read more... )

Because our heat pump is still frozen up, the heat/cooling man said to put it on emergency heat to let it thaw, so he can come work on it Friday (tomorrow). Well, that doesn't provide much heat at all, and yesterday I was in 61 degree cold all day. I am incredibly fatigued today, and am having trouble staying awake despite taking a half of a Provigil (1/4 no longer works). I fell asleep WHILE EATING SCRAMBLED EGGS this morning, which of course is dangerous as I could choke! Then I fell asleep at the table, with a full cup of coffee before me.
