Bear was working on a customer's quilt. Someone ELSE made the quilt top, but he did the pattern quilting that held the "sandwich" together. I thought I'd share some photos of his work today,

Yesterday I had a breakthrough. Finally! After about 5 weeks of NO sewing or quilting, I worked on the Carpenter's Star! I think I know what has been making me so depressed! Now mind you, a "normal" person would be depressed over my medical situation, which is quite grim, actually, considering that I am more than morbidly obese and I have all these really bad diagnoses. It is absolutely stunningly gorgeous out today! It is up to eighty degrees and it really feels good. I have most of the windows open, and there is a wonderful breeze, though the inside temperature is only seventy-two degrees.

I got the binding on Emmie's Virginia Tech quilt! We are washing it now. I'll take photos of the quilting and completed quilt tomorrow. Whew! It's going to Emmie on Monday.
