So it's Day of Training 22, I have 6 days of school left. So far I am doing well, but my body has taken a beating. I injured my knee, though that felt better after about a week of gimpy limping. Now I've pulled the ligament or something that runs from my hip down the front of my thigh. So bending over or pulling my leg up towards my body hurts. ( Read more... )

So, Dot 8 down. It rained like the DICKENS today. I stepped outside and just went "oh what the hell..." then I had to run across the parking lot to reach the school, cause I have no umbrella. Another thing for the shopping list.

Day of Training (DoT) 6 down. Due tomorrow is a lot of reading and the outline for the speech due on Friday. My class had a lot of discussion today of doing the right thing, even if you don't want to. Statements were posed to us and we'd move to the 'agree' and 'disagree' sides of the room. Well, I haven't come by LJ in a while. Had the drains removed with just a tiny bit of drama on my part. It's just not that comforting to have the doc say "you'll be fine!" and then lay down one of those 'soak up the blood' towels. I've been sore and achy since, but I'm up and trying to get back into exercise, taking walks ( Read more... )

Today I am finally nearing the requirement to have my drains removed. I have to be down to 25cc's of fluid in a 24 hour period, and I was down to 30cc's today. It was 50cc's yesturday, so I'm chugging right along. I also re-gained some mobility in my upper arms and managed to perform hygiene by myself.
