Work on this last weekend

HOLY CRAP IT'S MARCH ALREADY.

I was out in Okinawa this last weekend, and found this lovely lagoon.

The tide was out so I went tidepooling. I found crabs and lots of shells, one small octopus, a few brittle stars, and a ton of huge black sea cucumbers that look like this.

Then the next day I spent most of the day working on a diversity board for the school, which the theme was to be Women's History. Working with 5 other people means 6 different ideas. And some kept leaving to print color pictures then coming back and not liking what they saw. In the end, it came to be this. It only took 5 hours to get to that, lol. The instructors liked it.

I'm leading the trio who has volunteered to sing the Japanese/US national anthems for our graduation, mainly cause I'm the only student among 70+ that knows both. So I'm teaching the other two (males, imagine that) the Japanese anthem. One of the guys is singing the melody of the US anthem, while we other two sing two parts of the harmony (bass and alto). Yeah, that means we got a guy singing the soprano part. XD But he sounds good. Maybe it's due to his name being Gunther, I dunno. XD

Today in class, I had an eye opening experience and learned something about myself. I'm actually terribly jaded and negative when it comes to a lot of military things. Because a lot of the formative experiences I had in the past were not positive. Nearly every time the instructor tries to have us discuss important experiences, I have to struggle to hold my tongue and not release scathing, sarcastic remarks. I never realized it was this bad, or knew why before. Now I'm seeing it and wondering if it's too late to fix it. And can I finish this class without being labeled as a sourpuss. o_o

Here's hoping.
