1. R is still in the hospital. They've decided not to put in the mesh thing in his vein. The oral meds he's been started on (he's still on IV, as well) have been giving him a headache, although not a severe one. Hopefully that will ease up as his body adjusts. ( Bronx Zoo field trip )

Friday I made it out to the big-box home-and-garden place, and bought a bunch of veggie seedlings, seeds, flowers, and a few other bits and bobs to start this year's garden. It was pretty warm, but I did manage to get everything into the ground - the veggies in the afternoon, the flowers after dinner (along with lawn-mowing).
