Good news: Nala is doing much better. In fact, as of today I'd say she's just about normal again. Somewhat arthritic, but not to any sort of crippling degree. We had her at the dog park today, and she even trotted at times, tail perked up, cheerfully sniffing everything. Phew!

Jade, on the other hand, had a rough day. ( Yip yip yip yip! )

According to this chart, there's a new moon out there tonight. However, I would otherwise be willing to swear that it was a FULL moon, given the way Jade has acted today. Super productive day today; I'm really pleased. I did start off by falling asleep on the sofa as soon as my kids were off to school, rather than jumping on the treadmill as I should have, but after hauling myself up around 9:20a, things went much better. Band camp started today. After all my wibbling over "what to do with Two" last night, it turned out that on the first day today they didn't need any extra help, so I just turned around and went home again. Tomorrow they said they would start measuring for uniforms, so I'll just limit my volunteering to the first hour and see how Two does. ( Read more... )

alchemine posted her daughter's latest results to an interesting questionnaire about a month ago. I thought it was neat, so I printed out the questions and posed them to my own kids while we were in Scotland. It's just taken me this long to finally post the responses. :P

1. The puppy chewed through the charger cable for our Macbook this morning, to the tune of about $100 for replacement.
