So I pitched my bill last night at Willkie's council for the Willkie Library that I run. I asked for $1300.00 for DVDs for the collection and they decided to vote on it that night. I told them I would be ok with a partial grant of the money, so they voted on it... and it PASSED. I just scored $1300.00 worth of supplies for my library. I'm ( Read more... ) -

Well its tuesday my "day off" but i'll spend most of it working on a proposal to try and get $1300.00 from college students for my library. I hope this works this time, i'm getting really desperate to help update the collection. So, tonight i went over to jess' house (jess from slis, not jess from augustana) and had a delicious dinner with her and her roommates. They made pizza from scratch and i brought a carrot cake (although i didnt have time to bake my own, which i would have preferred, but i did pick up a wonderful vegan carrot cake from bloomingfoods, very tasty). I am now feeling much better since my surgery, I mean I'm still taking Advil, but not as tired etc. And my body has re-adjusted to the Eastern time zone again. Phew ( Read more... ) -
