party pooper
So, tonight i went over to jess' house (jess from slis, not jess from augustana) and had a delicious dinner with her and her roommates. They made pizza from scratch and i brought a carrot cake (although i didnt have time to bake my own, which i would have preferred, but i did pick up a wonderful vegan carrot cake from bloomingfoods, very tasty). I actually had a very nice time and really enjoyed hanging out with them and i hope i get to more often, it is nice to meet new friends and their friends.
i was going to work on my social informatics guide today, but i took dexter to london dog instead and ordered baked for some yummy cookies. i've been searching for swedish classes also, but i cant find any out here, i actually really want to perfect the swedish language now, but oh well, i really blew my chance at augustana, its such an interesting language.
other than that i am thinking about having a late b-day party for me at the cottages this summer and inviting everyone i know, but you know, i always worry about people actually showing up and then i end up not throwing the party since people never respond etc. i mean i'd house everyone at the cottages, and buy plenty of drinks, all they'd need to do is bring swim suits and some time. i mean i know its a decent haul to northwest indiana, but people could stay 2 nights if they want. i dont know, i get so excited about these parties and then it never turns out the way i plan it... although i haven't really acted on it since high school, so thats probably my fault. i'm just such a nervous person all the time, no wonder i have TMJ, i cause my own stress.
well im pretty tired now, off to sleep!
