Yoochun plopped down on his bed, already exhausted from filming and recording all day.
Yoochun checked his phone for the nth time that day, hoping that each look, he’d miraculously discover a message from Junsu.
He throws the phone back down on the bed once he sees his empty inbox.
He knows that if he wants a conversation he should be the one to start it, but mustering up the courage to do so is easier said than done.
With nothing to do, he opened his laptop and started monitoring Loveless. There, he saw Junsu’s face, although through a broadcast.
He then searched for their couple news in the net, and various articles popped up immediately. He clicked on one of them and read it through:

Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu break up/cool off?!
According to a source, Junsu and Yoochun were heard to be fighting after filming an episode for their drama, Loveless. Though no one knew what they fought about, multiple sources from the set have told us that they were indeed, using raised voices. Kim Junsu was then seen exiting the dressing room with an unpleasant look on his face.
Junsu also confirmed in a Japanese interview that they indeed fought, but when asked why he only replied that fights were normal in relationships.
With Junsu’s avoidance combined with Yoochun’s rumoured affections for his new leading actress Yoon Eun Hye (from the drama I Miss You which has started filming recently), do these foreshadow an end to our favorite couple?
Having a public relationship for 5 months, there are speculations that this fight might lead to the end of their 2-year-long relationship…let’s all hope that they both have a cool off and get together again instead of a break up!

Yoochun stared at his laptop, and after some moments, closed the window down.
He sees his music software on the desktop, and an idea pops up in his mind.
If he has trouble saying things through words, then he’d turn to what he’s better at: songwriting.
He quickly finds an unused melody among his files, and started typing some lyrics.
He writes,
I dream of a love that I’ve never dreamed of before like a fool
They were just feelings that developed by chance, but here I am crying alone
Your wide shoulders and wonderful eyes shook me up

I will never forget how you called my name
Our clumsy and awkward kiss made my heart tremble

I don’t want to miss this moment
Even if falling in love is an extravagance, I’m still here
If I’m with you, now is good

[The reason why I chose this song is because of its meaning, and I couldn’t use Junsu’s songs because a lot of them are too dramatic, and Yoochun doesn’t have many solos that are appropriate for this fic, so I decided to look for Jaejoong’s songs, and stumbled upon this one. Please ignore the fact that Jaejoong was the one that sang this, the main purpose of the song in this fic is that Yoochun wrote it. I picked this because it’s hopeful, but it’s also a bit unsure about love, which is how Yoochun is right now---he wants to tell the whole world of his love, but that’s not going to be easy, and as the lyrics tell the moment that he and Junsu meets, he doesn’t want to miss the moment to say his feelings, even if to love is basically an extravagance for idols who are busy to no end, even if it’s going to be hard if they start a relationship

Yoochun sighed after spending an hour on the lyrics, and started texting his manager that he wanted to record the song tomorrow since he had a free day.
Yoochun picked up his phone again.
Still no sign of Junsu.
Without thinking, he created a message to send to the man.
Yoochun huffed and sighed.
After minutes of staring at the white screen, he moved his thumbs to press on the keys.
I miss you…
Upon typing the last dot, Yoochun accidentally pressed “Send.”
….It took a couple of seconds before what he did registered in his mind.
Shit, shit, shit! He panicked, wondering if he could unsend the message.
He pinched the bridge of his nose.
Should I tell him that it was missent? But no, he might get the wrong idea…what the fuck do I do?!
Despite Yoochun’s efforts to think of something, he wasn’t able to come up with a brilliant plan to save him from the embarrassment of his message.
He then instead wondered how Junsu would react.
Would he be weirded out?
Would he be happy?
Would he get mad?
Yoochun didn’t know, spending minutes and minutes of staring at his phone again…but this time waiting for any reply…which never came even if he fell asleep.

Junsu yawned and stretched, as he woke up from bed for another exhausting day.
He picked up his phone, which had long died the previous night, and plugged it to charge.
He then took a bath.
He dressed up, staring at his messy room.
He fixed up the pile of papers on his bed, stumbling upon the lyrics he wrote the other night.
Junsu sighed, and kept them all in his bag.
After some more fixing, he pressed the button on the wall to make up his room.
His manager then knocked and entered, and briefed him for his schedule of the day, day 1 of his Japan tour.
Junsu then unplugged his phone, and stuffed it with the chord in his smaller bag.
~.~.~.~.~.
Yoochun went inside the recording room, fixing his song.
His manager suggested they release it with another single, and add instrumentals of the  two songs as the last tracks, since he was basically free until Junsu comes back to finish Loveless with him, and until he starts working for I Miss You the next week.
Yoochun glanced at his phone.
Still, nothing.
He then adjusted some lyrics in his other song.
He then sang his first song, now is good, and made some adjustments along the way.
2 hours later, recording started for the second song.

I can’t hide it, I can’t help myself
I need you, I want you, I miss you, wanna feel you
So please know that my mind is only for you
If you’re tired and exhausted, and you need someone else, I’ll be there
I’ll stand behind you, I’ll look at you alone
(I’ll never betray you…I’m not Yunho…)
Breathlessly, I love you, I love only you
My heart that looks towards you is burning
We’re not friends, not lovers and it hurts that I cry
(We were friends…but after that fight, is there any hope that I’d even be more than a friend?)
My heart can’t be hidden, my feelings grow that it hurts
Even if I throw everything else away, I want you
The foolish monologue, the words I can’t tell you
(I love you, Junsu….would you ever look at me and tell me that you love me too?)
I love you like crazy
I love you so much

The music faded out, and he suddenly felt so hopeless.
He wondered, Will Junsu ever hear these songs?
Will he understand them?
Yoochun felt stress weighing him down, as he went out of the soundproof room, and sat on the chair in front of a computer.
~.~.~.~.~.
Junsu took his phone to update on twitter, once they had a 10-minute break during the tour concert.
Upon turning it on, he received a message from Yoochun.
Junsu felt extremely bothered.
Was it something important?
Was it a personal message?
Was it something sent by his manager?
Was it something about the contract?
Junsu shook the thoughts away, and decided to get it over with.
He opened his inbox.
‘I miss you.’
“Junsu-sshi! You’re up in 5, please change clothes!”
“Ah, g-got it, thank you!”
Junsu continued his tour concert for the night.
~.~.~.~.~.
“Oi, don’t tell me you fell asleep here?”
“Huh?” Yoochun snapped awake. “Jaejoong?”
“You’re lucky it’s me…if someone else went in they could have scolded you for using the recording room as a sleeping area…you better go back home, you have a photoshoot for I Miss You tomorrow, right?”
Yoochun’s phone beeped.
Jaejoong saw the change of expression on Yoochun’s face.
“Is there anything wrong?”
Yoochun was obviously dumbfounded, his eyes glued to his phone.
Curious, Jaejoong looked at the screen.
Ah, a text from Junsu… Jaejoong thought.
Upon reading what was said, Jaejoong smiled, and left Yoochun to be alone.
It had read,
‘….I miss you too.’

Chapter 12//"Junsu gave them all a doubtful look. How can he trust these people?"
A/N: Sorry it took so long! I had exams, and then I had more exams, and then we have to prepare for our Cheerdance competition this February. And unlike last year, this is probably the hardest preparations we’ve gone through. That’s because for the previous 2 championships we’ve won, our captain was always our choreographer. However, now the responsibility’s been passed down to me and 2 other seniors, but it’s extremely difficult because we only started preparing this January! And the competition’s on the 3rd week of Feb already…plus the pressure’s eating us up, coz it’s our 3-peat! Please pray that we be champions, it’s our last year, being seniors! Anyway, please tell me what you think ^^
