I'm now a week and a half post-move, and it's beginning to feel settled. After two days of sleet, snow, rain and every other imaginable sort of precipitation, it's all quiet.

The streets are empty of vehicles and people. Nobody is outside. It's perfect out.

I just got home last night from the most incredible time in Europe, to start a new job that will have me relocating to Richmond, VA by June 15th.

Nervous. Excited. Hoping that I'm not going to forget or miss too much. AHH!!

I logged into Last.fm earlier this afternoon to listen to my library on Last.fm radio since I was too lazy to hook up my external hard drive and kick iTunes into gear. I applied to the client that I used to work for out in Westport. Everything was looking good and we were down to waiting for endorsements from people I had worked with. The recruiter called me at noon today to tell me that my application had been rejected because of the feedback that had been received ( Read more... )

It's been an interesting month. A very challenging time, leaving me feeling completely deflated, but there have been surprising bright spots and support from points that I would have never expected. Things are slowly starting to feel better.
