My mom called me tonight to tell me that she was in the emergency room last night. Her blood sugar levels skyrocketed and she had to have a couple of IV drips to help with things. I want a blog, guys. Like a real, genuine blog that's about a specific topic with specific things to say and people to read it. But what topic? I have some ideas, but I doubt it's anything people would care about. It's something I think I could be great at, I just don't have anything great to do with it yet.

Spring is in full force here, and it's wonderful. Everything is green and flowering and it's warm and lovely. It's like every year I'm amazed that all of this can come back after winter. This weekend was lovely. It was beautiful weather, I had margaritas with friends, I learned how to put a quilt together, I got to hang out with my cousins and have a tea party with my aunt's family.
