yeah i know how you feel about that. I am not close with my mom. Well she calls me every few months to tel me how she is and to get me in touch with other family members. She called mea few weeks ago to tell me, "I just got back from vacation. I was in rehab". I kinda laughed and said, "Dude! did you just use vacation and drug rehab in the same sentence?". I don't regret not spending time with her as I have reached out to her so many times to have my hands slapped away. She is supposed to be the adult in this relationship and reach out to her kids for once in her life. but i digress....I am glad to hear that your mom is doing a bit better and I really hope that you two patch things up. People who are in ill health seem to get closer to those who they've missed out on

I hope everything works out okay for your mom. (I've been there, it sucks.) And that realization is horrible and unfortunately true.

/hugs

I understand your situation all too well. I've been going in and out of ER for several weeks with my mom to make sure she is alright. At this time she is pulling through, but there are other details that I do not want to disclose here. I'll you at some point.

Make some time to be with her! Try to figure your schedule out 1 week in advance to see how you can manage this. I'll ttys.
