Well, i am alive, i just don't have much to say. I have been busy with work. Friday i was especially busy because we were under attack from a hacker and one part of my job as internet police is trying to mitigate that. So it was a high stress day. God i am already fucking done and i only managed 20 minutes of the welcome drinks tonight. Departmental meetup is bad enough, but several hundred people all standing around drinking wine, talking small and eating decidely not-vegan finger food is really not my idea of a good time. The past few months i haven't been feeling great. Work is fine, but it takes up a huge amount of my energy and it utterly exhausts me. I have been drinking a lot more alcohol than i would like to be drinking, and i notice i'm gaining weight as a result, and that just makes me feel even more unhappy, which leads to more drinking.
