I have a great aversion to owning stuff. It makes me feel trapped. But also it feels wasteful. I try to keep my ecological footprint small. So many people have so much stuff that they hardly ever or even never use. My rule of thumb is if i am not going to actively use something at least once a week, every week, i shouldn't buy it.
