The past few months i haven't been feeling great. Work is fine, but it takes up a huge amount of my energy and it utterly exhausts me. I have been drinking a lot more alcohol than i would like to be drinking, and i notice i'm gaining weight as a result, and that just makes me feel even more unhappy, which leads to more drinking. This week was not a good week. I made a big fuckup with some code Monday night which i couldn't find a way to undo, and it's messed up a bunch of people's work from the last 8 years. I woke up in El Guamo on Good Friday to the sound of nothing and wrote a journal entry. By the time i got on my bike, the town was a bit more busy, albeit in an obviously holiday mode. I've done it! I've made it to the "puerto belt"! That's the part of the Magdalena Medio between Medellín and Bogotá where all the towns are called Puerto Something.
