Ugh! I would hate all that humidity. Give me desert any day. I totally agree on the days off. I took Friday and it was glorious. I got a bunch of house cleaning done, and still had the weekend to enjoy.
I'm completely with you! The humidity here sucks, especially given that it's also coupled with overcastness and drizzle for a good chunk of the year. It's balanced out by good food, good public transport, affordable housing etc, but if there were a desert version of Taiwan i'd be in! Sadly the (slightly) drier and sunnier southern part of the country doesn't have any jobs in my field.
I love butts and, as such, I am all the more saddened yours has been a site of such discomfort for you. I am so curious what the hell could be so devilishly persistent and hope the find the right doctor to (no pun intended) get to the bottom of it.
I'm also curious! One of the things i liked best about the doc saying scabies is at least i had a diagnosis, and something that could be "fixed". All these weird symptoms without knowing what's causing it is a real source of stress for me.
A flat butt means you can draw a straight line from someone's shoulder blades to their heels without hitting any flesh. I have a flat butt, and what it means in practical terms is that it is PAINFUL to sit on bleachers for more than a few minutes.
I cannot imagine what is the source of the butt irritation.
I never thought about it like that, but i can kinda see it. I suppose my butt is flat too, at least if i stand up military straight with my shoulders back.
I never had much of a problem sitting on things, although come to think of it if there is ever a slouching or lying option, i always pick that over sitting. I just don't much enjoy sitting straight for long periods. It could all be down to that flat butt!
I must admit that if I had come across 'a decent section was just a wooden boardwalk suspended on the edge of the cliff', I would have been 'oh hell to the no.'
Did you take pictures? Maybe I would have been okay.
I'm glad you are getting out and about despite the butt plague. I hope you get this resolved soon.
It wasn't that scary at all, because the greenery around was so thick it didn't actually feel like a platform suspended on the edge of cliff, it was more like a path up in the trees, surrounded by foliage, if that makes sense. I actually didn't get a photo of it, after all that, i think because i was at the point of sogginess where i just wanted to march back.
