Bugger, seem to have acquired a tummy bug. I think I'll go home and die quietly.

So damned tired at the moment. Not sleeping very well at night. Got home late on Monday, having stopped to help some folks change their tyre. The tyre was so bald that I cut my hand on the exposed steel belt - no wonder the damned thing blew! Apparently they were on their way home from a funeral. Bloody hell, that's irritating! Just had my pc "upgraded" at work - yay.... and now everything on my screen is just slightly fuzzy by a pixel. It's really hard on the eyes, and they can't do anything about it until Wednesday.

Apologies to basal_surge whom I appear to have infected with my tummy bug. It seems to be quite virulent, but thankfully for me the worst was over in about 4 hours. Have fun. Maybe take a good book in with you, and keep a bucket handy for when there is simultaneous catastrophic containment failure.

Had a boss-approved day off today to properly recover from being a sick thing yesterday. Even managed to be wearing pants by 11am, which is a big improvement on yesterday. Damn, I hate tummy bugs, especially bog & bucket ones... This one is ripping through the council like wildfire. Janet was suffering from it yesterday. Apparently it's only a 24hr bug. Dammit, now I can't go swimming for a couple of weeks! Poo!
