Bloody hell, that's irritating! Just had my pc "upgraded" at work - yay.... and now everything on my screen is just slightly fuzzy by a pixel. It's really hard on the eyes, and they can't do anything about it until Wednesday.

Judging by what's still sneaking through, I really hate to think how bad this headache would be if I weren't taking 550mg of naproxen sodium 3 times a day and 1000mg of paracetamol 4 times a day. I'm seriously contemplating taking a dose of amitriptylene again. I may have been a total space cadet after taking it last time, but at least my neck ( Read more... )

Let's see... Headache - day 13...

Monday's headache was even worse than the headache on Day 1. Went to physio on Tuesday, which helped for about half an hour. I stopped at a pharmacy on the way back to the station, and the pharmacists actually knew what I was talking about, and recommended naproxen as an alternative, or bigger doses of voltaren ( Read more... )

Craig was off work today with an rib injury (soccer with the Dragons isn't very non-contact) - handy for cat wrangling this morning, and it was nice to come home at noon and have lunch together and stuff, and now, miracle of miracles, he's actually cooking dinner?!

Can I have a new spine, please? This one's not working properly. Not making it through today without painkillers. My back doesn't so much feel tight, it just feels like I've been lifting stuff for a day, and I know I haven't. And the headache is back. Let's see if nurofen tension headache is any better than the usual stuff.

Coffee Club - FAIL. Milky, even after asking for extra chocolatey.
Fuel does consistently good hot chocolate no matter which one you go to, but they don't have one in Porirua - Pooh. The one at the airport is great. I asked for extra chocolately and they warned me that their standard one was pretty damned chocolatey, and they were right. Yum.

After spending part of Friday and all of Saturday & Sunday with a hideous headache that max doses of nurofen & panadol, or Voltaren & panadol, and a hot bath, and wheat bag couldn't budge, I've made an appointment to see a physiotherapist to see if I can get myself sorted out.

Had gaming here tonight - meant that I had to actually clean the house, it was a bit of a bombsite with all my sewing stuff for Festival (eek, I leave next Wednesday!)
