The colposcopy found "high grade changes" so I must go in for either a LEEP procedure (done in office) or cone biopsy (done as outpatient surgery.) I still need to have the endometrial biopsy that they were unable to get on my last visit ( Read more... )

Apparently it's time to get back on the roller coaster ride of medical problems. Just had an abnormal pap test with both ASCUS (the most common abnormal) and AGC (a much scarier, precancerous condition that is really Not Good.) So I am waiting to get scheduled for a colposcopy so they can get biopsies and see what is going on ( Read more... )

The people I was supposed to be rooming with have canceled on me, so I am stuck without a hotel room for Tribal Revolution (and the venue hotel seems to be sold out.) Are any of my peeps here going, and if so, do you have space in your hotel room? Do you know anybody with space? I am not sure I can afford to go if I don't find something!

It's kidney failure. I am so worried about treating him - he is such a fighter, I couldn't even pill him this morning (normally he's very good with pills.) Now we're looking at sub-q fluids several times a week.

Not my boy. This can't be happening to my boy.

Little Guy has been lethargic and not eating so well lately, and drinking more water than usual. A trip to the vet confirms a small amount of blood in the urine, dilute urine, and trace proteins. Something is wrong with his kidneys. He's lost almost a pound in the last few months ( Read more... )
