The colposcopy found "high grade changes" so I must go in for either a LEEP procedure (done in office) or cone biopsy (done as outpatient surgery.) I still need to have the endometrial biopsy that they were unable to get on my last visit ( Read more... )

Thanks! And yeah, sucks is the word.

My mom asked "Can't they just take out your whole cervix so it doesn't give you any more problems? And do a hysterectomy?" I think that's probably a little premature since the findings are still in the precancerous stage, but it made me crack up. My family is so practical.

if 'twilight sleep' is the same stuff they do for colonoscopies, then go for it. Best medical visit I ever had.
