A list of happy things

I really like blogging in lists.
  • My apartment is half clean. The kitchen is almost spotless. The balcony is cleared away enough that I can put a dwarf citrus tree there. We are winning the War On Bed Bugs.

We're really lucky that we don't have to cross the US first to get there! Course, we'd have to do that if we wanted to go to Europe or Africa.

We are flying into Narita. There's a train that takes you into Tokyo, right?

It would be so amazing if you were still there in November. Please give us useful tips!!

I think I am going to start listening to Japanese language learning podcasts. That's how I picked up a bit of Chinese. I can listen to them on my way to work!

We are super excited, even though it's 3 months away. :)

I'm shocked at the under $500 price. It helps that it's the low season for foreign visitors. I'm hoping that when we go to Europe, hopefully next year or the year after, we can find equally awesome airfare.
