But I do keep it a little chilly in here.  It's not that big a deal to me, I have covers, clothes, dog to use as heaters.  I am always toasty warm at night.  But Lucy, not so much.  She's delegated to the floor on her bed.

So I bought her an electric blanket of her own.

She seems quite content.

I just made a phone call and made my Saturday a little bit easier for myself.  My plan was to go pick up a load of firewood after I got my hair cut and took lucy to the Vet for a checkup.

I was going to have to:

•  take a section of the fence out
• pull the trailer from under the deck to the street
• put the section of the fence back up

Here is a picture of my new lamp.  It is pretty solid.  It felt like I was carrying 2 air tanks up the stairs when I got home.  They look pretty good.  It's funny, I haven't had side table lights in my bedroom in forever.  As long as I have lived here in georgia I haven't had a headboard either.  I have an idea for that too.  Hence the search for a ( Read more... )

I know that was a really big DUHHHHH! statement.  But today was just another one of those days.  It started out all right, it just took a big turn south about 4:00pm.

 I saved $60 on this project.  It would have cost me About $90.00 for a new Canopy for the deck...  But for $30.00 (marked down from $40.00) I was able to put a brand new top on this old ripped up one.

I thought I was supposed to go see Raiders 4 tonight but it's tomorrow night.  Then I found out we're not going at all.  I never thought I would be that relieved, but I am.

I am goin to try and take the door back tonight and then return to put it up.

That would be one less thing to do this weekend.
