I did it...

ast night was the only time I would have at all this weekend to get out there and look at cars.  So I do a little searching on the web and decided on a Nissan Versa at Nissan MalloGA.  I head out.  But I call My Lyon first.  Car magazines are his porn, as if you wanted to know.  He gives me some great advice that when I'm talking to him on the phone, I am so not going to do, but when I get there I actually employ and am damn glad I did.
I test drive the 2007 Versa.  It has 6000 miles on it.  It's a nice ride.  Gets great gas mileage.  He gives me a great price of  $13,900.  Not bad.  I am pretty sold on it, but I decided that I should do what lyon said.  So off I go to Toyota MalloGA across the street.  I actually have to wait for a salesperson.  I notice that the first guy that is supposed to be sent up to help me... Looks at me, says something to the guest services girl and then walks away.  Well, his lost.  The next little guy comes out and I ask to test drive a Matrix.  This 2006 model is bright red and has tons of Bling.  It is AWD, with a sunroof and plugs and stuff.  But the ride... Ahhhh nice.  But the thing I notice I love the best, is that the back lays down completely flat.  So that the dogs will have plenty of room.  So I can pack stuff evenly and get the most room out of it.  I love this car, except it is red, has AWD and I find out on the CARFAX that it has had an accident where it needed to be towed.  Hmmmm.  The guy leaves the room and I use his computer to check Autotrader.com for Matrix's in the area and Lo and Behold... There is a 2007 White one right around the corner at Honda MalloGA.  I bid my farewell, and off I go.  I meet my salesperson Oscar and Tell him I want to drive that car.  I whip it out of the parking lot and scoot down the street.  Then he tells me to do a U-Turn and I decide to have some fun.  I took that turn so hard and fast it literally knocked all the change out of his pocket.  I think he may have peed just a little.  I haven't laughed like this buying a car before.  And except for all the waiting... It was a pretty good experience..
They wanted $15997 for the car with an internet price of $15662... I told them$14900.  They tried to play a little game of haggling, coming back with "$15,200 is a fair price" all proud of himself...
Then I said "I thought $14,500 was a fair price I was being generous."  His eye's got big, he picked up the phone to call his "Manager", I stood up and He laid that phone down quick.  He realized I wasn't playing and I was totally prepared to leave if he did.  And I was.

We settled on my price and now it was hurry up and wait.  He was stunned when I already had my financing.  Let me tell you, that makes life a whole lot easier.  so here are the sales pictures from autotrader.com.  I didn't have time to take pictures... Yet.

I then came home to get Lyon so we could go back up and pick up Otie the Wonder Jeep and I let him drive Neo home.  ha ha Geo-Neo.  I'm tired, Leave me alone.  This car used to be a rental.  It only has 28000 miles on it.  Not bad.  It still has a little bit of warranty left on it.  I just need to do a few this to it to "trick it out " (not), like put a GPS holder in it, tint the windows, put the usual car safety things in it, stuff like that.
I spent about $4000 more than I wanted to on the car, but I realized I probably am going to have this one for a while.  It is going to be my main transportation and I didn't need to skimp on it, plus I had to like... And I love this car.  I love Otie too, but he needed to live the country life...
