About

Welcome to The Archive where luxury, decadence, seclusion and madness can all be found, right at the tips of your fingers. This massive, red-brick, Romanesque Revival-style rental apartment building was one of New York city's early conversions of a landmark building. Completed in 1899, the building served as the Warehouse until it was converted to rental apartments in 1988. The impressive 11-story, full-block building dominates it's low-rise neighborhood in New York's West Village, commanding impressive views in all directions. It is directly to the west from the full-block complex of St. Luke's-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church and School, which fronts on Hudson Street.

This is one of the more desirable sections of the popular West Village with many restaurants and antiques stores nearby on Hudson and Bleecker Streets and many boutiques along Christopher Street.

The building has a concierge and a doorman, a garage, a sundeck, laundries on every floor, health club, fitness center, valet service and other luxury amenities. Many of the 479 apartments have high ceilings and some have loft bedrooms.
VAMPIRES. WEREWOLVES. HUMANS...

All tenants at The Archive are successful. No tenant is given the lease without a need and a means to pay for all the security and decadence. There have been countless murders, suicides, divorces, affairs, and disappearances at The Archive, though little is known of them outside of the tight-knit staff of the building. There are many secrets inside The Archive, and if you're lucky, the most you'll have is a little brush-off with your neighbors of both mortal and immortal kind. That is if you stay out of fights. Because you never know if that goth girl next door is a 300 years old vampire, or if that biker who lives just a floor below you is a werewolf.

If you're out of luck, you may wind up meeting the things in the basement. Some say it is haunted, others swear it's infested with the zombies. No one really knows what it is that you can find down there except the darkness. Rumors abound about those tenants who moved out and have never been seen again, in fact there has never even been one single moving truck seen leaving the building. One simple trip to the building's sub basements could cost you your life.

So if you are seeking an apartment in the illustrious Archive, pray. Pray the things in the basement don't find a way into the heating ducts and your apartment. Pray no one you love comes up missing or winds up dead.

Welcome to your new address. 666 Greenwich Street.
