I've been watching the Republican youtube debate on CNN.  Usually, I wouldn't do such a thing but it's good to know your enemy.

We saw No Country For Old Men last night.  I think you should go and see it too.

I went to the dentist a couple days ago to get a filling replaced and while I'm laying down in the chair, the dentist says, "Well, do you want to try this without anesthesia?"  I laugh and say, "Ha! Until a few days ago, I hadn't been to the Veteran's Hospital in about six months.  The most striking thing I noticed was how many more amputees there were.  It used to be that most of the amputees were old diabetics; they probably still account for the highest percentage, but there were quite a few younger amputees this time around.  Missing an ( Read more... )

Going to Houston next weekend to see the Lizard (our 18 yr. old daughter) graduate high school.  Very excited about seeing the whole family.

The boy got a Nintendo DS last night with his b'day money along with the Pokemon Diamond.  I couldn't convince him that he should buy me Pokemon Pearl so I had to break down and buy it myself.
