Is there anybody out there?
I haven't been on the LJ for oh, so long. Since I started going to school again. School sucks. It interferes with my pool/beach/cafe Cubano time. Other than that, what's to complain about? Life is good to me.
So, I was trying to figure out which director I'd seen the most movies by after I realized I'd seen seven Kurosawa films. I found that for me, I've seen seven of quite a few directors but getting above that is tough. My brother was laughingly saying I'd probably just embarrass myself when I realized I'd seen more Spielberg movies than anything else. Lucky for me, I said that wouldn't be embarrassing because it turned out to be true by a long shot. Not to say that I wouldn't have rather had Waters or maybe Kubrick at the number one spot.
Spielberg won with 13 titles watched. Tim Burton came in second with 10, Hitchcock third with 9 titles watched and Miyazaki with 8 coming in fourth. Tons of directors with seven films watched -Takashi Miike, Kubrick, Waters, David Lynch, Fellini, etc.
Many of the Spielberg films were crap I watched when I was younger but several of them I still love including E.T.! There, I said it.
