Going to Houston next weekend to see the Lizard (our 18 yr. old daughter) graduate high school. Very excited about seeing the whole family.
This college thing is driving me crazy...I don't like taking tests or writing papers or listening to middle-aged men babble on and on, but I'm trying to get into the right frame of mind. The Art Appreciation class sucks because the Prof. sucks, but I love the textbook -lots of interesting stuff.
kiki_otoole clued me in to an excellent song that sounds like it's being sung by Marzipan from homestarrunner called Polaroid Baby as part of my burning down the city song collection plus I ran into an excellent cover of the Talking Heads song Burnin' Down the House done by Tom Jones that is my new favorite song. Even better than his Sex Bomb.
In other news, feel free to hate me for linking to these songs. Now Tom Jones will be poor. :(
