I'm going to a Supernatural S7 marathon at redteekal's this afternoon and thought, what could be more appropriate to take to a Supernatural viewing than a pie? (Other than perhaps ( 7x10 spoiler )

There's no real recipe for the ice cream pie: you just make a cookie crumb crust, put the ice cream on top, and then put some kind of topping on top of that if you so desire. However, here are my mother's steps for the one we had on Christmas Day:

I seem to be drifting away from LJ and I'm not sure whether or not that's a good thing.
