The past couple of weeks have been something of an emotional roller coaster. I won't get it into it too much, partially because everything is more or less resolved, partially because I don't feel like overthinking everything right now. ( [insert vague work babble here] )

As someone who gets scared stupidly easily and hates the mere thought of blood, Halloween isn't exactly my favorite holiday--candy stashes and adorable kids in costumes notwithstanding, of course. Work today was all kinds of crazy. I spent nearly 5 hours straight--plus another 2.5 hours after my break--busting my ass making drinks, helping customers, and doing prep work for my Assistant Manager's closing shift even though he never pays my closing shifts the same courtesy when he's the midday Shift Lead.
