Phew, this was the hardest one out of the bunch so far, to translate!  The language used is complex, but for the most part, the tone is really light and playful.  Trying to strike a balance between the two was difficult.

There's nowhere near as much sex/raunch on this album as there was on the "Boku" album, but this solo is a little on the naughty ( Read more... )

Another B-side from "Hatenai Sora".   My thoughts = ACK!!!!  It's another "kagero" folks!!! It has short choppy phrases that kinda, sorta, sometimes, ambiguously make sense. (- _ -);;; The phrases are very pretty though, if you don't think too hard about what they mean?

I love this song, but as far as translations go. . . it's an absolute mess. It consists of choppy little Japlish phrases, mixed in with English loanwords written in katakana, and regular Japanese. Coupled with the "Everything" single, "season" is also a CM song for au by KDDI. It's yet another 旅立ち (tabidachi), or setting out on a journey song. In this case, the "journey" is the future and adulthood.

I've had the "How's It Going" album playing almost constantly in the background these past few days, and there's some really good stuff on it! I love "Shinchousa". I cannot believe this song is just a B side; it's too good to be relegated to B side status.  So I was glad when it was one of the songs chosen by the boys as part of "Arashi's Selection" for the 5x10 LE album. It was also part of the concert set list for the Arashi Around Asia concert, where they rocked it.
