Ok, so where do I begin this time.

Well, last night, around 10 PM, I decided to go to a friends house and hang out since I was bored as hell at my apartment.  We stayed up playing games and watching tv.  Had a few drinks and around 3:30AM returned to the apartment and proceeded to go online and surf the web for a bit.  Some time around 4:30am I finally called it a night.

Well, it's the end of another day of training.  No tests, no modules.  We did however join our first shift meeting; after which was followed by our assigned patient for the day.  All we did was shadow the primary RA and see what they did, how they filled out the documentation, and ask plenty of questions.  I can't give out patient information but I ( Read more... )

Today was the third day of training.  It was great since everyone is more comfortable with eachother and it's allowed us to get to know eachother as both friends and co-workers.

Yes, yes... I passed all of the preliminary testing (drug-test, finger-prints, and health screen).  There really wasn't any doubt that I would fail them.  So, phase II began today.

Ok, so here's the latest update on my quest to obtaining a new job.

Well, it's official.  I passed the drug-test... as if there was any doubt.  They've called me and set up an appointment for my finger prints tomorrow, pretty much right after class.  Once they run a background check, I'll continue on with the health exam, and then the mandatory training which will begin on May 5th ( Read more... )

I forgot to include the following:  In regards to the SoCal Gathering in Irvine, on May 9th, it's pretty much guaranteed that I will not be attending.  If I pass all the required tests (as if I would fail a drugs test--XD I'm drug-free, I have no pending or prior convictions, and I'm in decent health) I will be attending a training session that ( Read more... )

Well, I got home a few minutes ago.  I was in Bakersfield for my CNS interview.  I wasn't sure I was going to make it because their location is so straightforward to spot.  I swear, I was about to cry because I couldn't find their office.  It turns out that in order to get to their office, you had to go through an alley which is between Le Petite ( Read more... )
