I went with the fishing reel for Joe's christmas present. Also got him a jar of cashew butter and socks and underwear.  Thanksgiving was good.  Went down to Huntsville, AL and spent the day with Joe's cousin and a little family.  No candied yams though.  His family doesn't do candied yams, which makes me sad.  Guess I'll have to supply my own at Christmas this year.
