I need Barbie help!
I'm trying to get some early Christmas shopping done so I can get free shipping for Alta's birthday present... (makes sense in my head)
We grabbed Wal-Mart's toy catalog last week and Lilly zoomed in on this particular Barbie doll. Well... I assume it was this one. When we talked about Good Dreams that night Lilly said she was going to dream that Santa was bringing her a "Barbie with a pink sparkle dress, with dots!" Unfortunatly the reviews on this particular toy aren't very good, I don't need something that's going to be bulky and break the first time she plays with it. Plus it plays music... that's a definate downside to any toy in my book.
I looked around a little more and saw this dancing Barbie. She's got the pink sparkle dress but is otherwise pretty plain. Added bonus though is most of her clothes are painted on... less stuff for me to have to put on and take off later.
Finally I saw this one. She has the pink dress, no sparkles or dots, but she does light up. Added perk is that this one also comes in a brown-haired, purple dress version that I could get for Alta which could prevent fights over who gets to play with the doll.
So... since I was the kid who specifically told people "DO NOT BUY ME A BARBIE!!" I need some outside help here.
Do I get the requested Barbie, complete with sparkles, music, and reversable dress?
Get a generic dancing Barbie?
or get the in-between pink dress with blinky lights?
