(no subject)
I'm avoiding school work, cause that's the best way for it to get done right?
All in all school is going well and almost done. I had my writing final on Wednesday, dunno exactly how I did but I should come out just fine. Next week is officially finals week. I've got Learning Stratagies on Monday, I got an A in my history class and as such I don't have to take that final (yay!) but it would have been on Tuesday. Wednesday is math and then Thursday is drawing.
I've already cleared it with Joe that I'm going out with two of my friends from drawing class for Mexican food when we finish our final on Thursday. Depressing thought of the day ... last time I went out with friends (not Joe) was before I was pregnant. How sad is my social life?
Speaking of pregnant. I had my diabetes screening at the Dr's this morning. Not worried about it, never been a problem before. This was actually my first diabetes test even though this is my 3rd pregnancy. They don't do that test in Germany. Anyway, that stupid orange flavored drink gave me heart-burn like you wouldn't believe. Tums to the rescue there.
Christmas shopping is pretty much finished. We got everything for the girls that was on their list and now I'm just on the look-out for stocking stuffers. Joe is another issue though. I've got a few ideas but am not sure if I should go with a new watch (his old one died) or if I should get him a combination of pasta maker and corn-hole game (yea those totally don't go together and I'm ok with that). Any of those things would be appreciated, I'm just not sure which way to go with it. I can say that whatever I don't get now will be purchased in March for his birthday, so I guess it's really not that big of a deal.
I'm gonna tag some me-time tomorrow and go make my final decision on Joe's gift and then hit the dollar store for the last of the stocking stuffers for the kiddos. I can say that my day out will include a fancy coffee and lots of window shopping. Maybe a pedicure. We'll see.
Well, if we're really going to be eating chili for dinner tonight I'd better get off my butt and go make it.
