1) I'm flea bombing today and the house isn't ready.
2) Sweetie isn't here to help out or to calm me down.
3) I got three hours of sleep last night.

She's gone to Florida for a three-week training session. Last time she did this it wasn't a good thing, and Mom had to come over and kick me into shape after the first week. Mom is now in Ohio with my brother, his wife and their kids, so that's not an option ( Read more... )

Poor Sweetie! She's sick, and I'm doing my best not to catch it. There's runny nose and a gurgle in her throat (one of these days I'm going to have to teach that girl how to spit that stuff out), and an occasional cough and sneeze. She can't sleep for very long, and runs hot and cold. She's not enjoying herself this weekend.

Just in case I failed to mention it...

Sweetie came home Saturday. She's still in a lot of pain, but it seems to be decreasing gradually.

Since she's incapacitated, I have to do all the chores I possibly can, and I'm not doing well. Cat boxen aren't getting done, I'm just barely remembering to feed the cats as it is, and things like laundry are ( Read more... )

Day Two: There was an MRI, so we now know there's a stone in there.

If the stone stays as it is, no problem, but if it turns, it's emergency surgery, and you know how much fun that is...not any.

Sweetie's in the hospital again. Nothing life-threatening, but here we are again.

I got 2 1/2 hours of sleep last night. Sweetie got a little more.

1. I'm all nervous. I have the new machine built, but there's just the matter of putting it into the spot it's going to occupy, and then installing the software.

2. Okay, it's in place.
