So, does modeling brainwave patterns produce behavioral and psychological results?

How long before this technology is considered such a part of your basic working environment, it's taught in grade school? How long before that will kids be mimicking each other's brainwave patterns for fun?

audiko.net is another website like wolfram designed to create ringtones, but instead of generating one with randomness like Wolfram does, Audiko does it by taking a tune from you and clipping out a chunk using tools on the site to create a distinctive ringtone. Actually, it's kind of interesting. Near as I can see, the tones are generated randomly to fit various styles of music, and then you just pick the ones you want for download. With the additional controls at the bottom, you can make pretty much any sort of music you want. :)

The hunt begins.

It's a Windoze related problem, where every so often Windows Explorer crashes for no reason, taking all available instances of Explorer with it.

Searching for a solution to this, I found a link saying it was probably a shell extension error, and I could try to nail down which extension was causing the problem with a utility ( Read more... )
