It's been a busy summer, as it turns out, and despite hours upon hours of travelling, I didn't manage to get very much reading done.  These are the combined efforts of July and August and in my defense two of those books were over 600 pages long.  So there.

Very late in its coming, very sad in its shortness.  However, this being the midpoint in the year, it makes me wonder exactly what the final count at the end of the year will be.  Since I started this in February and give or take a few slow months (like this one), I might end up with an average of 60 books per year read.  This is hella impressive, ( Read more... )

This past month turned out to be rather productive in the way of reading, despite being overrun with events and responsibilities and the like. I spent a lot of time early in the month sitting around at work reading and sitting around while I should be studying for something but no, I was reading. With the end of the semester approaching, reading time is being eaten up by the surge of literary journals and magazines that have just been published.
